Approach to Care

Based in San Francisco, ROAM provides evidence-based, client-centered care that supports individuals navigating common sexual, relational, and perinatal concerns, including desire differences, intimacy challenges, sexual functioning, communication, and major life transitions. We are inclusive and affirming of people across sexual orientations, gender identities, and life stages, with particular experience supporting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

ROAM's clinical approach is trauma-informed with an emphasis on client autonomy, consent, and pacing. The work considers how stress, identity, and broader social and cultural contexts shape relationships to the body, sexuality, and connection, and integrates pleasure-centered care as a meaningful pathway toward healing and embodiment.

With specialized training in sexual trauma, ROAM's lead clinician, Romi, supports clients in addressing its impacts on intimacy, embodiment, and relational safety. Her care is collaborative, practical, and compassionate, and is tailored to each client's goals, values, and lived experience.
